Keeping yourself safe, while playing grand theft auto online is a huge aspect, because they are numirous modder out their in the community and you might have been lucky enough, not to have came across one since you started playing the game and yeah Rockstar is doing everything in their power to prevent the modders, but sometimes that is just not enough, because what if they manage to come back? This may or may not happen and if you are playing on PS4 X-Box One, then you may feel that you have got nothing to worry about. That is where you maybe wrong, because as of recently, some of the modders have managed to get onto the PS4 and X-Box One systems. We know that it can be a pain when you come across a modder that is what we are here for.
They are different types of mooders. They are the type that is set to ruin the game for other players, including you and they are the type that is using mods for their own use, for example, money hacks, rank hacks and that is just to name a couple but these type of people do not want to get caught, So they don't go crazy on the rank and money hacks. The other types of mooders that are set to ruin the game for other people then they don't care if they get caught as long as they cause as much damage to the game and other player, before they are caught then they don't care about anything else, because they just create another account and do the same thing over again.
From time to time you will see both types of modders and both of them deserves to get banned from playing the game, because we all work hard for what we have achieved on grand theft auto online and if you feel the need to report them then please don't feel bad, because it is them that is cheating and they are not playing the game farely. You can do numirous things to prevent you getting touched and this is, If you see a player on grand theft auto online that is level 8 thousand then leave instantly, because he/she could be a modder, but you have know way of knowing this and yeah you could report them, but if they are not a modder and you have reported them, then you would punished by rockstar for abusing there report system. The only way you can report a modder is if they kill you, but you can't kill them then this means they have got god mode enable through there modding tools, so report them instantly and then find a new session.
Modders don't just use god mode though as they can also use a feature called teleporting, which allows the to teleport around the map and spawn next to you, pull out a weapon and kill you. Now this is not fair, so report them and again just leave the session. You could also kick the player from the session, but this requires you do vote to kick them and if they are only 2 of you in the session, including the modder then this will not work, because you would require at least 3 other players to vote to kick the modder for it to be successful and that might not kick them if they are an experienced modder, so the best way to deal with this is report the modder and find a new session. Follow all of the above and you will be a happy player and all of the above works on all platforms, whether it is new and old generation platforms.
